Yeah, I know Yonder Mountain isn't a blues band per se, but check out the 4th track (Crow Black Chicken) from this show (click) (http://www.archive.org/details/ymsb2006-08-12.flac16). I found words and chords on this Ry Cooder page (http://rycooder.nl/pages/ry_cooder_boomer_story_chords_lyrics.htm).

Is anyone else playing this? I could use some tips as I am not quite getting it. I can use the chords I found at the Cooder site and play along, but I am just playing "short rhythm guitar", chopping the 2 & 4 to do the beat (which is kinda our job I guess http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif ) but what I am doing doesn't sound as good as what Jeff Austin does (no big surprise there, but he is doing something very different from me, not the same thing better - what is it?). The chord forms I am using are all fretted between the 4th and 7th fret. My guitar buddies are no help; they can play on top of what I am doing and see no need for correction. So it's not way wrong, but it just ain't right...
