I have a Rigel A Deluxe and the strings buzz at the 8th fret. I have adjusted necks before with out a problem. I believe the extreme humidity has something to do with this. It appearws that this neck is not adjustable . Can anyone advise whther I can do this or am I better off having a luthier do this?

Thanks in advance foir your help.

There's a rod in there but it's not adjustable. It's removable, 'cause it's a bolt-on neck. I'd check with a luthier. Check the Rigel thread for contact info for some of the Rigel guys.

I doubt that the Rigel neck needs to be adjusted. Sounds to me like you have a high fret and that is a different issue than a neck adjustment. One of the frets may have come loose, or drifted. You may only need to reseat the fret and perhaps do a fret level, crown and polish. Kenc

I guess with Rigel closing their doors the warranty is useless. But if you emailed them they might have a agreement with someone for repairs.

Sounds like a fret issue. There is no user adjustability on the neck. Have the frets leveled and recrowned.
Neck can be reset, but I doubt that's the problem.
