I own a few Breedloves, and like them very much, as others out here may as well. It is slim pickins' to find much information about them or their mandos and especially the guitars, but many stores around the country carry the line. So, in hopes of disseminating and sharing ideas about them, I created a forum for the brand which is in no way shape or form affilated with the Breedlove Guitar Company.

If this is against forum rules to post, moderator, please delete. If not, take a look if you are interested and feel free to join in and tell us your thoughts or experiences.

Here is the url to the forum, and thanks for reading this! Happy playing.

Nice idea, but I can't seem to get to any of the posts.

This is interesting. On one of my computers, all I see is a plain gray background on the site, the graphics are all red x's and if I click on anything, it just takes me back to them main menu, so basically, I can't go anywhere.

On another computer, the site has full functionality. I can see all the graphics and the homepage has a wood-grain background. Both computers are running the same exact version of IE6. I suspect there is a setting that needs to be changed, or a plug-in that needs to be loaded, on the first computer. I have never had this issue between the two computers before, though, and I do a lot of surfing on both.

Any answers out there?

Good Lord, thanks for this feedback. I wll have to tweak things a bit based on your comments, hopefully I know what I'm doing. I so appreciate your input!

I am a goof sometimes, so sorry. I really did not have you all linked properly to the correct home url. I believe I fixed it. Please accept my apology.

I thank you all again for your bugs input to the forum! I posted a kind word to the two Petes at Rigel as the first mando post there. I think it is fitting and so deserved. Rigel will be missed.

It looks to me like it works, once you register, but I messed up & clicked "under 13" instead of over, & now I can't complete registration until my 80 year old parents send in my guardian permission form. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Hey, Omega,

Thanks for the new forum, it's a great idea.

But ... why don't you list those "a few" Breedloves you own in your signature with the Rigel and the Mid-Mo?

Just curious,

stv

Doesn't work for me... When I click the link in the activation email, I get this:

Template->make_filename(): Error - file overall_header.tpl does not exist

Go to the section you want to post in, Mandolin, for instance, and you should see a "NEW TOPIC" button on the lower right.
Welcome aboard.

STV,

LOL. I never saw this post of yours. Here are my Breedloves, guitars though, not mandos:

1. Northwest Classic -myrtlwood back and sides/sitka top
2. Custom Nylon Nouveau-same
3. Ed Gerhard Calender burst (#2 of 10)- IR back and sides/sitka top

Sorry for the delay. Ooops. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Breedlove forum turns 3 August 14,2009. Great group of folks; mostly guitarists, but a few mandolin folks; we could use more!
