Will's mandolins are awesome. I'm just glad it's not Will's Jethro that's for sale. I'd be crying because I wouldn't have enough money. That mandolin is so beautiful.

David L's oval hole Kimble is an excellent mandolin. #If I had the cash it would be mine.
Mike doesn't play any Kimble mandolins, but he does play Will's mandolas (and the one octave Will made). #Now, on the other hand, Butch Baldassari does play a Kimble (and a Baldassari model at that) F5 as his main alternative to his 25 unsigned Loar. #Also Mike Guggino, mandolinist for Steep Canyon Rangers, now plays a Kimble F5 as his one and only F5. #And, you can hear Alan Perdue of IIIrd Tyme Out picking away on his Kimble mandola at every IIIrd Tyme Out performance.
And, yes, Paula, the Jethro is a wonderful mandolin. #I know the person who owns it and I doubt we'll see it for sale anytime soon.
