My buddy in the church choir gave me a section from the Friday, August 4th Life Edition of USA Today.
I just got around reading the article this morning. #The article talked about the history, culture, food and music of southwestern Virginia.
At the top of the article was a picture of the band Derailed. #
The only one that could be seen clearly in the photo was Chase Johner on the Mandolin. Obviously the photographer knew who was the most important member of the band # http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
The rest of the band are as follows:
Marty Miller- Upright Bass
Tony Buck- Guitar
Sheena Dalton- Guitar
They were playing at the Floyd Country Store in Floyd, Virginia.
I wouldn't know if this is posted on line but if you get a chance to see the article, it's a must read.
Anyway they lóóked like they were having fun.
P.S. Edits due to lack of morning coffee
Cheers http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/coffee.gif
