Vantage Mandolin

I am looking for info ona Vantage mando,2-pointer, model VM-10. My son picked it up at a guitar show and gave it to me to learn on. It is made in Korea and sounds pretty nice but I have nothing to compare it to. I was wondering if it is solid wood constr. Any comments would be appreciated.

I've seen vantage on ebay. decent low price korean mandolin. Look inside at the back and see if you can find wood grain patterns and try to find those same ones outside on the back. look at the soundhole rim and you should be able to tell if it's laminate. My guess is laminate back and sides, solid top.

just curious, does the headstock have a inlaid, abalogne, V, put into it? i have a mando that sounds similar.
