Buck's Run is a great tune to pick. Buck says that on the first part, he tried to emulate the sound of hound dogs chasing coons. Two other good ones of his are Sassyfras and Fancy Dan. I absolutely wore out the record with Fancy Dan on it, trying to nail his phrasing and licks. Has the wonderful Jack Hicks on banjer.

Thanks for the help - That's just what the doctor ordered.

Bucks Run continues to elude me. I need to spend some more time listening to it. But one of Bucks tunes I do love to pick is One-legged Man. Has a fun, jazzy feel to it and is pretty easy to pick up. Sassyfrass is a good'un too.
