If you live anywhere near Bethany, Connecticut, I would strongly encourage any and all to attend the Monthly Bluegrass Jams that take place at
"312 Litchfield Turnpike" (Do a Mapquest search)
This is a private home, with no entrance costs, where once a month well over 200 individuals of all skill levels meet and jam. It is not exclusively "Bluegrass" but it is geared more that way.
Food, Contra-Dancing, this thing starts on a Friday night near the end of each month, and goes til the wee hours of the morning.

If ya'll are in Connecticut on the 15th of September, it would be worth stopping by and playin a while......that's the NEXT monthly date for the Bethany "Music & Dance"......

Tomorrow Night is the next Bethany Shindig (Oct. 20th) so all you slaggards who haven't bothered to schedule it in can be "last minute joe and janes" again.......lol.
