givens mandola?

i was reading through an old mandolin world news, and there was an ad for givens mandolas. i've never seen or heard of one, and i was wondering if he ever actually made any.

i looked into it a couple of years ago and found nothing.
I was asked to trade a Givens F for a Givens mandola from a guy and I got real excited about it. turns out it was a Randy Wood not Givens.
Checked with Greg Boyd and he said he knew of no Mandola. Too bad. Givens was a great maker. I would love to have one of each model of his mandolins A6, A5 and F5, It would have been great if he had a mandola to throw in, i have seen a 12 string Mandolin here on the cafe that he made. Maybe there is a guitar out there.

A friend of mine has a Givens guitar, a D-18 style but with the Givens A kind of headstock inlay if I remember right. Not the A-6 torch thing, but the script kind of initials. It's a good guitar.
