the phrase I read in piece by david McCarthy in the new issue of mandolin magazine [v8#1] talked about the complex of small buildings ..dormatory and cafeteria,.. doesnt sound like life and #work there includes spending time with the wife and kids or larger family . , except maybe for furlough.

anyone seen the Documentary #' Mardi Gras , made in china' ?..

hope the housing is, perhaps, a little larger than #crew's quarters on a fishing boat.

Interesting topic. #Highly political. #Imo, everything should be critically examined, even where, how, and under what circumstances your mandolin is built. #

I haven't seen the film you mentioned. #I will look into it though. #"Life and Debt" discusses similar subject matter though.

Putting the kibosh on this one right away, folks. This is a mandolin discussion board, and pardon my radar, but I sense the topic's intent is more political than about building instruments.

Take it somewhere else, please.
