I just received Anthony Hannigan's new CD "Down The Road" in the mail yesterday, I can't not stop listening to it and if you are looking for some fresh new mandolin music, this is a must have. It also features some real hot pickin from a great crew of back up musicians..Jeff Wisor, Biscuit Burners, Billy Gilmore, Sue Cunningham. All instruments get a chance to shine. But the mandolin especially.
I ordered mine right from the Hickory Project website
www.hickoryproject.com. There might be some sound clips there too.

AH is one cool picker. I remember when he used to hang out at Wind Gap with his Dad (who sold/traded Loars). He was turning heads back then.

Hey thanks You guys!!!
Had a great time recording this project and all the musicaians were great to work with!!! I am very lucky in that way. Lots of original tunes too, and i asked the others just to play and have fun with it so there is lots of improv material.
Its getting some good feedback, just keep pushing to get it out there for everyone to hear and hear what they think.
Alan!!!! How are you? Still in NC? DO you see Jimmy?
My dad told me to tell you hello!!
If you see Jimmy tell him hi for me.
Thanks again
Anthony

Hey A,

Have not seen Uncle Fedney around lately. Say hi to your dad - tell him to buy my Loar :-)
