does eastman make a fiberglass a-style case? i can only seem to find F-style ones.

I understand the A cases were discontinued. If you find the thread on them - somewhere here in CA had some New Old Stock.

Try hear, they had them a few weeks ago. However, the have nowhere to store anything.

Here's my experience with the Eastman F case (I've never seen an A). Wonderful case to carry around, strong light...but...

There is no room inside for anything more than a set of strings. There is no pick compartment, no place for a tuner or fastfret or gorilla snot or anything else you might want to carry... but...

I bought a small digital camera bag that I have attatched to the strap that holds everything and that's my work around. I'm currently at the Windgap festival in PA and have been carrying it and a guitar around for three days. I hardly notice the mandolin.

Now, the next question is why would anyone buy an Eastman case in any color other than red? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I'm going with yellow. I hear orange is an excellent color Eastman should include in their line...
