I am scheduled for Friday 11:00 am to1:00 pm and Sat. 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please come by and say hi and do some picking! I will have my Daley with me.

I'll be there but I generally can't drag myself away from the campground jams to even look at the workshops. I'm going up Thursday.

Diego,
I hear you, I'm the same way. I guess workshop might be misleading as it's really just a jam in the space that it normally provided for workshops. They wanted jam leaders for the benefit to anyone who might be new to jamming (or maybe to educate the potential jam buster). Hope to see you there,
Jim
Well, in that case I'll look to come by. If it's raining it will be cheaper than going to the Martin tent. last year in the midst of a rainstorm I bought a D-28 Marquis.... Just because there was nothing else to do. My wife told me I won't be doing that this year. Did I mention I did the same thing the year before? Hopefully nobody is selling mandolins....
I'll come by. Look for a red eastman case.
Jim, I'm looking at the weather reports and thinking that if you've got a tent you're gonna have a lot of folks in there jamming.

Diego,
It wouldn't be Wind Gap without the rain! I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and (hopefully) making new ones.
Now what's in that red Eastman case?
Jim
My trusty F5-G. It won't have black tape on the headstock. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Hey Fred,
We are booked for Wind Gap/AFBA, Aug. 3-6. We (Walls of Time) have been on hiatus as a couple of members have been pretty busy with other groups that they are involved with. I have had a chance to fill in with a couple of groups/projects so I'm happy. The jam keeps me busy too.
You guys are right about the talent line-up this year. I will have to make sure I don't miss hearing the ones I don't want to miss. One loses all sense of time and space sometimes when involved in a good jam.
Daryl,
You are probably better than you give yourself credit for. Please say hi.
See you all there!
I'll be there tomorrow about mid-day. It will be mudgap again this year no matter what. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

A big shout out to all the Cafe'ers that came by, picked, said hi, mando tasted, etc!
We had a pretty cool monster jam on Saturday afternoon. Richie K had his new Gary Vessel with him (a new Vessel thread) and really did a great job ripping up on it. Ray Q was up for the day Friday. We ran into Fred G and got to play his BRW. Ray Q could be seen sporting his Pegasus case with the most stickers I think I've seen on a case. I spotted Diego Moon as he approached the jam tent with his red Eastman case as threatened. Diego was right about Mud Gap for a couple of days. All in all, a great weekend.

It was a fun weekend, mud for a few days, colder than usual, but the music was great. Picking until all hours. I'll be there again next year. The setting for Windgap makes it really special.
It was nice to meet you guys, and yes, I am a maniac. Thanks.

Great fun as usual. Ray, Jim and I had a mandol-in (our new term for a tasting) Sorry I did not get to meet Diego, maybe next time. Let's try and meet up in August if anybody is going.
