I need to find a source for small round headed wood screws about 3/8 " or 1/2". I am replacing the updated tuners on my Gibson a-1 with a set of "vintage" tuners to get it back to "original" condition. The problem is that there are no screws for the set of vintage tuners I've acquired. From what I've seen on the internet just a common slotted roundheaded screw will do in a size 2 head. Anyone have a source that you'd share ?I need 6 screws!

Check with Stewart-MacDonald (http://www.stewmac.com/).

Stewmac sells them. They have tuner screws and pickguard screws with slotted heads in nickel and gold.
