Well, finally got it finished and broke it in this weekend. Solid Alder body with maple neck. Stacked humbucker, Gotoh mini tuners, rosewood neck, chrome bridge, Corian nut and seafoam green lacquer. Sounds great and very well balanced tone across all the strings. Pretty pleased with the finish. Its not as refined as I would like it, but a huge improvement over the last one.

Here is the back. Still haven't made a control cover for it.

Looks great! I wish I had the time to spend in the shop to start building mandos ...

Looks nice. Are you selling them or just making them for practice/enjoyment?

Beauty.

Where did you get the bridge? I want to make a flying V and need a bridge just like that.

Thanks,

Ken

Thanks Guys. This one was a lot of fun to make, and I am going to make another but with 5 strings. I am going to change the headstock design a bit because I didn't like having to use two sets of string trees to hold the strings in the nut slot. Everyone that has seen it has loved the vintage color. I am trying to get a friend to record a track with it since he has some studio time this week. If I get that done I'll see if I can post it somewhere.
Alex, it is going on the block once I get a control cover made for it. Ken, I make the bridges. PM me if interested in one. I don't like to conduct business on a thread.
