pickup for octave mandolin

Hey all you experts out there, I need some advice. I'm having a guitar shaped octave mandolin (acoustic) made for me, and I've asked the builder (Fletcher Brock) to put a pickup in it too. Any advice on what brand, what type, etc? I'm new to this electric business, so I appreciate any advice.
