Hey everyone,
I used to play a small monthly show in Alabama and we had Bill Monroe a couple of times. #I recorded these shows and have now been able to convert the cassetts to .wav files. I have four complete shows and would be glad to post a few song files if you are interested.
The first show was in 1980 and the second in 1981. #The 1981 show features Bill doing songs from his Master of Bluegrass album along with a lot of the old standbys.
I do not know if this is legal or not so would appreciate comments on that aspect plus interest in hearing the songs.
The quality is pretty good and really shows off the Loar in live performances.
Let me hear.
