... Just wondering if anyone has experience in using a Travelite case with a mandolin that has a Tonegard on it. Will the mandolin fit? Will I have to modify the case in some way in order to get it to fit?

Any experiences / advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If the TravelLite is the one from StewMac (with flap and hard plastic handle) it has fit easily with any F-5 I've ever tried - Flatiron, Wiens, Stanley, Hilburn, Gibson... http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

Didn't know a Travelite with a hard plastic handle even existed ... I'll have to check it out.

The one I have actually has the "nylon web" handles that close together using velcro. Does anyone have any experience with that style case and the Tonegard?

Thanks!

Mine fits with the toneguard on, a little tight at first, but them Gibsons is tough.
