The guitar player in my group is looking to get his Martin D-28 refretted. He lives in Southern Maryland and doesn't want to travel to far if he doesn't have to. Anybody know anybody in the area who could do a good job on this refret for him?
Thanks in advance!

The Appalachian Bluegrass Shoppe up in Catonsville (Baltimore), MD would be his best bet. #I forget the guy's name that does guitar work for Appalachian, but he does very good work.

He also possibly could take it somewhere in DC - though the only place I know is good is Joe Lanham in Northern Virginia. He used to work out of Music Masters but I think he's on his own now.

If you don't find anything closer, Picker's Supply in Fredericksburg, VA might be worth considering. Of course, that depends how easy it would be for you to get to 301 bridge over to VA.

Yes, that's who I mean. He did some work on a friend's Bourgeois OM that my friend was very happy with.
