Does anyone know when the new Gibson designed mandolin case will be in production, and ready for purchase?

I talked to Calton yesterday. We have the second set of prototypes nearly done. He said they should be ready in about 16 weeks. That is his estimate...not mine. I would think closer to 20 weeks from experience but I'm just quoting what I was told. They are cool and I'm excited to see them getting so close to ready.
Any indication of what the price will be?

And the weight? It looks like it'd weigh more than the standard Calton.

Jerry, I am considering it, yes. (Although, I am lucky to have two Caltons). The price point will be more than a current custom Calton, you can be sure.
