what a pretty little a. makes me miss my MT a little.
don't know if you remember, but we met in line to chris thile's new band at the living room. we chatted a bit about your gig bag. checked out your band. nice stuff.

That is actually a very cool cafe music venue on Cape Cod. Called (Nick & Athenas Place).In the day its a breakfast and lunch place,in the evening it is a music cafe. They started music nights there last year and since have had Old school frieght train, Jake and Tyler Amerding, Lissa Shakenburg, Abigail Washburn, And many more. They are also going to be featuring Mike Compton and David Long, Butch Robbins, also Don Stiernburg in the next few months. This is also where my band Tripping Lily (www.trippinglily.com) often performs.
So When Martin Brunkalla completed the mandolin he drove to Massachusetts, and hand delivered it to me. And since this place is down the road from my house we decided to go over there to do the deal. If you're ever on the Cape make sure to see if they have any shows going on. Its not too often they have shows there, maybe twice a month. So when they do they really do it right. Its a small and intimate place, perfect place to hear nice acoustic music. And the food is unreal, thats part of what gets these great artist to keep coming back to this place lol. Its a mom and pop shop and they make it a good experience for the artist that perform. Also How many places have a framed picture of a mandolin in them?

Nice mando, girl friend! I on occasion bring my mando to work at the Dairy Queen (usually around Xmas). Only in Manitoba can you eat icecream in the middle of Winter and hear Debbie and her Magic Mandolin! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
