Good morning: I sometimes get into situations where a decent drill motor would come in handy, but the problem is I have a regular size drill motor, like my 3/8 craftsman and my bench drill press, I am looking for a small hand held drill motor that a person can insert a small drill bit and not have to use too much wrangling to get into a tight space. I have a dremel but it is too fast ands I dont want to invest in a power switch to slow the thing down. Does anyone know where I could get something like this, any suggestions thankyou Dennis in Arizona

Have you thought about getting a right angle attachment for your hand drill? Light duty ones can be found at pretty reasonable prices and often solve the tight space problem. Homier has a hanging motor rotary tool that is much slower than a Dremel and pretty reasonably priced:

I do not have any experience with that tool, but it sounds like it migh do what you want.

For small holes where control is needed, I've come to prefer drilling by hand with a pin vice. There are also small hand drills available. Motors are great for larger holes, but small holes don't take much power to drill, so hand drilling is plenty fast for me.

How about a flexible shaft? I have been able to get in some pretty tight place with mine. I got it at Sears.
