Does anyone see a problem with changing the scale length of an old bowlback up to a 13 3/4? I have one that needs a new fretboard and do not like playing on the smaller scale. Also any suggestions on the best place to find a prefabed one?

Unless you plan on lengthening the neck and moving the nut placement back your bridge placement will change. 13 7/8" scale length fretboard can be found at stewmac.com. The increased length will also increase the pressure on the soundboard possibly overloading it.
