hi all,
i was just wondering if anyone else experiences pick residue sort-of bonding to your top finish. also is there a type of pick material that does not wear so easily as a standard plastic pick? i wil geneally go through about one a week. thanks.

Try a Wegen Dipper. I really like them, no wear, no dust. Good, clean, loud, smooth, toneful, are my opinions when talking about them. You may like them, or you may not.

Just my 2 cents: You may be gripping the pick too hard, attacking the strings too aggressively or not contacting the strings squarely. I don't use expensive picks, but I still never have that problem.
