The latest installment on our free lessons page at www.bluegrassbooksonline.com is up. And we have added a little something extra, along with the Tab and Mp3 for this months song. There is also a short video to accompany the lesson. Hope you like it, and as always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments. We would love to know if you found the video helpful.

Carrie,

Thank Rick for me. This is as good as I can do to get lessons from him. (Since I live in OKC)

I'm working on Wildwood Flower from your Bluegrass Mandolin Jam Tunes book and it's a great version of that song. #This is one of the best play along instructional books on the market IMO. #Can't wait for your next one!

Thanks so much, I'll let Rick know that both of you have enjoyed the books and lessons. We are hoping that the addition of #the video will help make the lessons even better.Just please forgive any camera-woman mistakes in filming, I'm new at this.

I bought this excellent book and I am loving it. #I also wrote to Rick about some problems I was having with rhythm and I got a very quick reply.....many good ideas to help me out. This is a very good website...it's one of my favorites. The video is so helpful. #

You did a great job, Carrie! The book is worth every cent. Don't let this one pass you by.

Thanks alot for your help, Rick. Your ideas are definitely helping me out! If I didn't have to drive 965.7 miles to take a lesson, you'd have a new student!!!

Thank you "all" for the very kind words. We've received so many emails about; which finger to use, which position to play out of, etc., I wondered how many other folks might be having the same questions, but didn't have the time or the nerve to ask. I thought the videos would make learning a new tune, a little easier, and apparently they have.

Dorothy and everyone, feel free to email me "anytime" you have a question about my books/lessons or pickin' in general. We'd rather have an inbox full of comments from the "Cafe" instead of scams from Nigeria. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

"Jack"...We will be looking forward to hearing from you. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
