It's not for me, but for a friend, really.

I recently saw what appeared to be a vintage, birds eye maple, tenor banjo by Morrell. My research indicates that Charles Morrell made banjos in NYC, then SF, ending production in about 1890. (I'm aware of the modern Morrell company, but this did not appear to be of recent vintage). Anyone know of any resources (preferrably on-line) with photos or info about these ancient creatures and their value?

Thanks,
R
