Anybody care to share what CDs you like playing along with? Right now I'm really enjoying adding some extra mandolin color to The Duhks, especially their tracks "Four Blue Walls" and "Dover, Delaware." Or what about some Celtic guitarists whose CDs overlooked the mandolin part???

I've got Ben Winship's cds on my player: Growling Old Men, Occupational Hazards, and Big Twang. The repeat favorites are Rake and Rambling Blade, which Norman Blake did on a now out of print album in the 70's (?), and Russian Lullaby.
I had the great chance to jam with a couple of the Duhks after a gig last winter. Very tolerant of someone twice their age and a tenth their talent. I remember playing the Bird Song and Dance Hall Girls.

Now a Duhks fan, myself. I just received the latest Sugar Hill pre-release, "Migrations (http://sugarhillrecords.com/catalog/pagemaker.cgi?4014)," co-Produced by Tim O’Brien & Gary Paczosa. It's amazing!
I'm hooked...
