My partner and I are looking for a wooden music stand to use while we perform. We would like something that is fairly easy to move and reasonably adjustable. Any suggestions?

Something like these from Shaker workshops.com (http://www.shakerworkshops.com). #Cherry wood you can get a kit and build / finish yourself or pay more for a finished one. #We have several pieces from there that we have built. #I would like to make one of these for myself. Sure look nice, but a little pricey for this wallet...

Santa brought me one of those for Christmas. Don't tell Santa, but it ain't much to brag about.

The wood is very soft, the finish is bright red and the shelf that you use to put your music on will not tighten down, so it keeps tilting forward throwing my music book in the floor.

I got one from Santa as well. I agree with Mr51 plus it is too high to use sitting down. It is strictly to be used standing up
