Many thanks to John Baxter! Thanks, too, jessboo - I missed the message announcing it on Comando.

I know John Baxter has put a lot of work into this project. There are a lot of "issues" to be dealt with before one can do something like this. It's a tremendous thing, and we should all be very grateful...and we should all make a contribution to help keep it going (made mine yesterday immediate upon launching).

I agree...what a great idea!

Somebody is playing "Sweet Georgia Brown" right now (12:29pm EST) and is simply shredding...does anyone have a clue who it could be?

Don't know, but I just listened to Tim O'Brien, "Lily of the West." Whoooohooo! This is great.

oh my, ive been listening for 2 hours, what an amazing line up going on. writing a school paper and simply amazed by all of the great mandoness that id never heard before. i will be listening to this for a long time. i have one question, though. when the playlist is re-done everyday, is it random or does it automatically not put in songs that were in the playlist yesterday?

thanks
Baron

Boy oh boy. This plus Sugarinthegourd on Live 365 (all old time all the time) are both a good time. I wish I could travel with them both. Doug

To answer the question regarding the Playlist, I've added a graphic at http://www.mandotunes.com/mandoradio/. Basically, the Playlist is a rolling Playlist, I replace songs periodically throughout the day. Once a tune has been replaced it goes in the archive for one month. The playlist is 3-1/2 hours, and the tune sequence is shuffled every repeat (every 3-1/2 hours). Thanks for your support, you guys are great.

The Sweet Georgia Brown track is by Johnny Staats and Robert Shafer from their "Pickin' Up Steam" CD. It is available from CDBaby, or maybe them.
