To all that cruise these boards both vocal or lurkers Happy New Year and may yours be better then what you have had.
#I have had a pretty interesting year. Amongst the normal things we bought a home and moved, went through some medical problems with just about everybody left here at home, had a son survive another year in Iraq, had another son produce my first grandbaby that had her share of problems from being premature, had my last surviving grandparent pass away last week and dealt with my own demons as all are prone to do when times get tough.
#I spent many days and evenings the last couple weeks hiding in my shop. In the mean time being in the shop and trying to keep my mind off so many things I produced 2 mandolins that have about every bit of talent/emotion/karma etc in them. One is mine and one will be for up for sale soon, but the point I guess I am getting to is I am gratefull for the chance, ability, time and family support that lets me spend the time making mandolins. With out any of those I would not be doing this.
#I know there are a so many people out there that we all either know, or from those that cruise the board here or those that have had terrible things happen this eventfull year, but I wish all a Happy or unevenfull New Year.
