Received my copy of acoustic guitar today and the homespun ad had a box for "The Mandolin and Bouzouki of Tim O''Brien !!" A check of the Web site says it will be available April 5, with no further details. Wow, this should be awesome!

Hope it's more mando than bouzouki (don't play bouz.).

Didn't Tim have a mandolin instructional out a while back, maybe in cassette form? I'd like to get my hands on that, but haven't found it yet.

Tim O. is amazing. this will be a treat to have on DVD.

You can get that cassette series at elderly.com. I don't have it - I was hoping it would come out on CD but that doesn't look hopeful. It's tough to go back to cassettes, VHS after being spoiled with this new technology. I guess I could transfer it to CD but my life is too hectic.
