I posted my feelings on two other threads, but I forgot to thank Breedlove so I wanted to say, "Thanks, Breedlove, Scott, and MandolineCafe!" I am jpositively beside myself with elation. I must have been a very good boy, indeed. My wife doesn't understand my addiction to bluegrass and mandolin, afterall I was a guitar player for 20 years (hack, though I am). Once I got into bluegrass I knew I would have to learn to play the mandolin. Well, two years later, I'm making good progress.

A word about the Cascade... I had a chance to play one the other day and in a shop FULL of Rigels, Webers, Epiphones, and Breedloves (dang near every model of each!) the Cascade was my favorite. I couldn't remember which model Breedlove was giving away, but you can be sure my hopes and wishes to win doubled after my playing experience on the Cascade. Of all three mandolin giveaways, though all were great mandolins and fit someone's cup of tea perfectly, this mandolin is the one I would have most liked to win. It suits my style and is a gorgeous mandolin. I have two nice mandolins, but there is a definite spot in the rotation for the tone of this Cascade and it may in fact be the better choice of my now three mandolins for duets with flatpicked guitar.

Thanks again, Breedlove and MandolinCafe.

(Ya'll know I'm estatic now, so this'll be my last word on the subject!) http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
