For Mando/Fiddle Players

Hope this wasn't posted before but it seems to me they compliment each other. I just started fiddle recently and it seems the ornamentaion and repetoire are very complimentary. Not to mention players like S. Bush, M. Marshall etc. play both.

No, but mando helps my fiddle playing.
Sam Bush said that he learned mandolin "in the house", but when he took up fiddle they told him to go behind the barn.

learnin' fiddle is a long road, but a good'un.
