Upcoming Compton/Long Acoustic Disc album

Hey all

Since I already wrote this at Compton's site, I'm just going to cut and paste the info. Seems we'll be seeing their album soon:

12/13/05: Well, the boys--Mike and young Mr. David Long--are in the midst of a tour to support their forthcoming album, Stomp. Stomp is due for release in February or early March, courtesy of our friends at Acoustic Disc. Your Humble Webmaster got to spend some quality time w/ our intrepid mandolineers in Indianapolis this past weekend. David pulled out his trusty Apple Powerbook computer (another kindred Mac spirit) and showed this writer the album art for Stomp. Fantastic! David again has utilized his trusty graphic/web designer Brian Holderman to design the album artwork. Brian's work graces both the covers to David's Midnight to Memphis and One Hand on the Radio CD covers, as well as the interface for his website at bigevemusic.com. Your Humble Webmaster apologizes for going on and on about the artwork, but as a fan of Brian's work, this excited me from my toes to the straps on my overalls. David told this writer that there's quite a bit of good stuff on this forthcoming album, so stay tuned.

Great news, I'll be looking forward to the CD.

Thanks for posting the photos.

I enjoyed them, but in hindsight they made me realize I'm getting old. That's because there was a good looking young man in many of the photos, but I was staring at the mandolin in his hands. Sigh.

Thanks for the update. I can't wait until it's available. I've about worn out "Climbing the Walls" listening to Mike's playing. I've been looking forward to another solo/duet project from him.
