maybe it's the christmas holidays that bring this out, i don't know. there's a gibson distressed master model on that popular auction site. the seller has a 0 score, and the starting bid is $23.95. the picture looks like it was taken from elderly, then the elderly sign photoshopped over.
sorry, i've never been able to do the link thing, but it's not hard to find. what do you think?

I sent eBay a notification of the altered photo. We'll see if it will be removed.

In the future, if you notice this type of fraudulent posting, I recommend you notify eBay Security (if you haven't already).

This one has all the signs to look for in a non-pro scam.
Way too obvious on this one. 3 day auction, private bidder ID, 0 feedback, and the most obvious is the ask questions at this email. That is so you won't go through the ebay system to ask questions. Then they can answer you direct and make the take for a cheap buy it now if you wire money to some foreign place.

Yup,,, without a doubt this is the most rag-tag attempt at a scam that I have ever seen.
The interesting thing now will be to watch and see how many people bid on it before it gets shut down.
Even this sick attempt will probably hook somebody if left up long enough.

I am down the road about 4 hrs. and emailed him for his "Buy it Now" price, I even asked if he would be around Thursday for pickup. I'm just 100% rock positively sure I'll be hearing from him VERY shortly......Right!
