On the Rigel website, Peter Mix plays some audio samples using various models of mandolins. #They all sound great, but what I'm really interested in is that little 'tune' he plays. # It sounds so different than any other style of playing I've ever heard. #Almost like fingerpicking. #It's in the key of A, I think, going to a D, E, etc. #

Does Peter Mix have recordings? (A search came up empty.) #What is the name of that tune? #Is there more of it available anywhere? #Who IS this guy, anyway!?!? #I'd DIE to be able to play like that!

What? Am I the ONLY person who ever heard of Peter Mix? Has anyone else listened to those clips at Rigel?

Maybe I've discovered an unknown talent! Hey, do I get residuals?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?

There is a thread on this same tune in the song section. The guy is wanting the tab to this. He says the name is "This I Know".

BTW, if you email Rigel, it is usually Peter who answers the email and I have always found him to be very responsive and helpful, even about purely curious questions. Its one of things I like about that company.
