I attended their workshops and concert a couple of weeks ago- WOW!! They did a GREAT job organizing and putting on an awesome day of workshops and music!

Peter Ostrushko was AWESOME!!! If any of you are not familiar with his playing or work, DO check out his latest CD's. He has a real gift in not only making music, but writing some just awesome music scores. #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

That was a great show. Particularly because I won one of those raffle mandolins!

That was a great show indeed! Fine performances by the orchestra, Bruce Graybill, and Peter Ostrushko made for a really rich evening of music. I highly recommended this yearly event for folks in the Atlanta area.

Hey jom did you win the Bell mando? it was a beauty http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Yeah. The Bell *was* a beauty, but I won the Weber Y2K. Although...that suits me better because about a month ago I just bought a Montana A5L. The Bell, being an F-holed A might have been a little more redundant in my blooming MAS. The Y2K is my first "oval" holed instrument, and I really dig its completely different voice.
