this sunday in the bay area. pretty sweet. ~15 pickers of varying styles/ability. the workshop was four hours - covered an interesting array of topics (technique, improv, chord structures etc.). pretty heavy on the discussion rather than playing. radim is a monster picker, great teacher and a real nice guy. my highlight was a post workshop jam session with five of us including radim. that is the latest in my mandolin life!

My music store hosted him for a clinic and then I cornered him or a two hour private lesson. Best thing I ever did for myself.

We had Radim do his workshop in Austin at my house after his performance with the Austin Mandolin Orchestra the night before. It was just a wonderful gathering and a great guy. He made a point of playing with each person who wanted to engage him, and time was not a concern. I have to dig it when someone goes places that just hit you broadside...geez, bang your head.
I will always endorse if you have the chance, take it.
All the best out there Radim. Come on back to Austin.
