Ivoroid Binding

I got a call today from SAGA to say they now have received a shipment of celluloid ivoroid binding. This is the stuff with high contrast pattern in it.

Hi Michael-does one need to have a commercial or dealer account with Saga? On their site, when I tried to order, I was directed to "your nearest dealer".

Probably need a legitimate resale license. Otherwise contact a SAGA dealer, which is just about any music store or professional luthier.

I was wondering the same thing, and was thinking about ordering a tremolo, but there isn't a dealer within a couple hundred miles of me, so I guess I'll need to find one online. Anyone here interested?

Saga called me, asking if I needed any banjo cases (!)

Anyway, while I had them on the phone, I told them I had heard that they now carried ivoroid binding. She put me on hold and came back to tell me that, no, they offered no such thing.

What gives....?
