I may be going Wednesday with a buddy who's up here from Virginia for his wife to have surgery. My trip obviously depends upon his wife's recovery.

I'm out on Long Island.

hey brad, wish i could go. as a kid who grew up in brooklyn riding the f train (the el was 3 blocks away- Avenue x stop-fuggeddabodit!), loved the clip. hey, checked the bio page and you aren't listed as the mando guy??? do you folks switch?
anyway, not a huge bg fan, but when home to visit the folks, will definitely find out where you are playing and bring some friends.
peace,
ira
ps- loved the harp on that tune as well.

Hey Ira,

Thanks for the listen, etc.

I'm not the mando player, but the guitarist. Though I'm currently hooked on mandolin - specifically this blonde collings MT in my lap.

Just got back from mando brothers. played the #### out of the store and was blown away mostly by the collings. some other interesting ones of note, but I want to keep playing so....

maybe i'll discuss later...

i was there in the summer and they had an old (20s?) vega cylinder back that was just mind blowing in tone, clarity, just pure sweetness- still there?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
