Just got an e-mail from Orbitz this afternoon announcing a United Airlines Holiday sale good through November 28. SuperGrass/LoarFest West promises to be a great new indoor festival in a comfortable convention center style hotel and auditorium in Bakersfield, CA being held February 2-5. Bakersfield roundtrips to and from various US cities vary in rate from $164 to $325, with most in the low to mid $200s. If travel expense has been the limiting factor in your decision whether to come out to this super event, then this could be another good way to make it easier. Check out the event website: www.supergrasscalifornia.org then go to Orbitz or United Airlines websites. The Holiday Inn is now sold out but the Best Western Hill-House across the street still has rooms as does the Doubletree and a number of other nice hotels.
