Hey guys, do any of you know of any comprehensive bibliographies pertaining to the classical mandolin that might be accessible online. I'm hoping to do some research in the near future on this subject and some starting points might be useful. The more information the better.

Thanks!

Welcome Mr. Bard!

Not online (until this post), but here's a little compilation I've made of mostly English-language sources that should still be available somewhere for purchase or via interlibrary loan; this should get you started. #In document form, I use this list as a handout to introduce the uninitiated. #Of course, if you look any of this up, especially note the sources they cite as well. #There are a few other sources in other languages and of some antiquity, but they would likely be less easy to locate or use (and it's likely I don't have them on hand). #The list of methods omits the countless golden-era trivialities that abounded ca. 1900. #I know the list of references is rather small, but this is still a relatively obscure topic.
