Has anyone checked out the Ebay listed mando #3711553097, by Antonio Tsai. It seems that I've seen discussions about him in the past but wondered if anyone here has bought or played one? It took me a little while to figure out why the F5 headstock looked funny, then it became obvious. He has shaped the headstock so that A-style tuners can be used instead of F-style. The instrument looks interesting, I think he could have left off the F-style headstock or used F-style tuners and not modify the shape. Thoughts?
I bought one of the violin shaped mandos from him just for kicks.....I'd be afraid to use anything but light gauge strings on this. I'm changing the tailpiece & bridge......kinda fruitless, but I'll do it anyway. #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
I guess what I'm saying is "you get what you pay for" on these.

Forgive me for budding in on this subject, but I wanted to send a message to Dale and don't know how. So I'm hoping you'll see this. Do you have a web site with your mandolins for sale on it? You seem very knowledgable and respected. I'm interested in seeing what you have on offer. Thanks.
