Black tuner buttons on a Weber?

I'm making a wish list for a Weber octave mandolin that I'm fantasizing about. I asked the folks in Montana for black tuner buttons and they say that they don't offer them.

So I wonder if any folks here have successfully transplanted black ones to a Weber?

The OM tuners are probably different from mandolin tuners, but ... I gotta ask anyway... <G>

I'm pretty sure Weber tuners are more or less standard Schallers. I'd imagine that if one could find ebony buttons made to fit mandolin Schallers, you could get them to work.
