Anybody have this one? Teddy is on banjo on this all-instrumental outing from probably 15 years ago. Excellent tunes and playing. Has one Tim Laughlin on mando, and boy is he good. Deft playing at any speed, good ideas and good tone. What is Tim up to these days?

Do you mean Teddy Francisco, from Bristol TN? He was a phenomenal talent, endlessly creative and tasteful. His passing away late this summer from cancer was untimely and tragic, and he will be sorely missed.
Tim Laughlin is now listed as the mandolin player for Appalachian Trail on their website. But i haven't been to see them this year, so i can't confirm that's what he's up to.
Another old title with his mandolin work is Acoustic Endeavor's "Coming of Age", a very nice 1995 release of folk-influenced bluegrass originals penned by Warren Amberson and Kelly Green. A real sleeper album there. Tim and Ernie Power (dobro) were called in to be "hired guns" for the recording, and did most all the solos in one take each, very clean work.
Thanks for the update, and very sad news indeed.

Sad news, indeed, about Teddy.
Tim Laughlin also put out a solo record at some point in the past. Included both instrumentals and vocal numbers. I've got it somewhere in the stack at home.
