I just wanted to say thanks to Scott. #I come to the cafe every day, and really enjoy the content, and the classifieds, and of course the contests. #When I see arguments flair up, die down, and flair up again, I realize how much work it takes to moderate a site, and keep it current. #Instead of taking it for granted today, I thought I would just say thanks for no particular reason.

Thanks!

I've learned just about everything I know about mandolins from here...the old threads, the builders discussions, the reviews, and the companies that advertise here.

I've made purchases from Greg Boyd's site, First Quality, Elderly, and Weber...and all due to this site.

Thank you Scott and all the people that make this happen.

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Thanks also to Ted for his work here and his site Jazzmando.com!

I agree. I haven't been posting long, but I've been enjoying the site for quite a while. It's great having so many mando resources accessible from one place.

I never would've learned so much so fast if not for the Cafe'...I thought that A and F styles were TUNED differently (I thought F was a strange key as well...feel free to laugh amoungst yourselves...) when I started looking into playing, but all the answers were here. And I don't feel like a freak since I see here that others play rock, jazz and blues on mando...I doubt I would've found Yank, Jethro, Glasse ect...if not for the Cafe'....of course I never would've bought 10 mandolins in my 4 years playing either...YIKES!!!!
