Today I happened to look at the label inside my Gibson Adam Steffey F5 and noticed that his name ('Steffey') was mis-spelled ('Steffy')! # Being the curious sort, I also checked the warranty card, and sure enough, same issue! #
To quote Homer Simpson; #DOH! #
Oh well, I am really enjoying the mando and just thought I would share! #Anybody else got any interesting 'builder quirks' that they have uncovered? # (and/or anybody else with a Steffey have the same situation?) # http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I can only say that some people don't "spel two goodly"! Just today I saw a sign for a tattoo parlor that read "Body Mark's." People love to put the apostrophe with plural forms for some reason. I also had an essay recently from a student who wrote about the "value of a collage education." Well, at least Gibson knows how to make a good mandolin. They just need a proofreader for those labels!

Maybe that is why Steffey switched to a Daley!
Some folks really get upset with misspelled werds, I can't tell you how many times my name has been spelled Simson.

...a sign for a tattoo parlor that read "Body Mark's."
My first thought was that the parlor was owned by someone named Mark.

I can check into that, but I bet the owner just doesn't know grammar!
