i get the dave barry column on line every week (i know folks differ on him but i think most of his stuff is hilarious).
these week was guys and electric guitars- pretty funny stuff!
(especially as i am prob. ordering a solid body e-mando today even though i don't know when i would play it anywhere).

I want one of those emandos too and I have no clue why. Well, I sort of do, but I don't know that I would really play it much. I did get a condensor mike for my mando. It did not take long to figure out that if you are anywhere even remotely in front of the amp, it will vbrate the top and feed the mike and it will sound like the 70s (for me, anyway) all over again.

Beethoven looking for a bigger amp!... Well I guess he did when he graduated to the grand daddy of all amps... the pipe organ. Some of those babies could turn a Kustom to dust!

I traded my electric guitar and amp for my first mandolin. Next to powerin down the amp, that was probably the best thing I ever did with that outfit.
