Hey all - I've got an opportunity to purchase a Gibson A-5G - the red one that's been on e-bay for the past couple days. The price seems right but I'm wondering if anyone owns one and can speak to the bluegrass chop on it. I owned a similar Flatiron Performer A that was quite weak in that department so I'm a bit leary about the Gibson. I love the tone of the A-9 and F-9 (the only other Gibson's I've played) so maybe I should spring for one of them listed on the classifieds? I just love the woody Gibson tone and that bass that rattles your insides when you hit it. Thanks in advance.
