Fats Domino missing...

This morning Fox News is reporting that Fats Domino and members of his family are missing. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,168122,00.html)

Monday was the last time anyone heard from him. He said he was going to ride out the storm in New Orleans.

Please let start to see some happy endings to this horrible nightmere.

But most of the Nevilles’ homes are destroyed, reports their niece and my colleague at “A Current Affair,” Arthel Neville. She went down to her hometown yesterday and called me from a boat that was trying to get near town.

“This isn’t like having two feet of water in your basement,” she said, holding back tears. 'Everything is destroyed. I am just so lucky to have been born here and to have had the experience of New Orleans.'"

I'm just hoping that Dr. John wasn't in the "Right place... but it must've been the wrong time." Our prayers go out to both the big pickers and the little pickers caught up in this mess. The music itself will survive.

Just found out that Fats has been in Baton Rouge with LSU's quarterback sleeping on his floor.
